EMOTIONAL RESCUE

Installation #3

The places where beauty dwells

Assisi

How many are the places where there is no room for beauty? Neglected places, abandoned, deprived of art and nature, devoid of life or rich of asphalt and concrete. Yet beauty consists of emotions and what would we do without them?

In the wake of these reflections SUSANNA CATI has created the 'Emotional Rescue' project, curated by Barbara Pavan, that will be staged on sunday, october 2, 2016 in Assisi, via Porta Perlici 27, from 11 am to 2 pm.

EMOTIONAL RESCUE is a modular installation composed of dozens of fabric flowers, each one unique, which, starting from a place of striking beauty, travel around the world, along with those who will have acquired one – certified - as ‘ambassadors’ to be immortalized in all these places deprived of art and beauty, impoverished, dispossessed.

By posting the shots on #emotionalrescue - or mailing the to catis@libero.it - we will create a great photo album, not to be intended as a complain, rather an exhortation to bring life and grace where these do not dwell anymore. A flower, in short, to say that we hope for revival, a new ‘blooming’, wherever our way takes us.
